摘要

  近年發光二極體(Light-emitting Diode,LED)應用的技術大幅進步。隨著 LED 大量使用在各種產品,對於 LED 光學特性的檢測要求變得越來越高。目前國內廠商因成本與設計需求,使用量產型的光譜儀做為檢測工具,但相較於高規格的光譜儀,其量測精度較差。因此各家廠商透過程序複雜的校正方法提高精度,且此方法沒有物理依據容易因不同產品性質而失敗。

     本研究透過實驗分析,找出影響光學檢測精度的最大問題為雜散光,並透過光譜雜散光校正矩陣(The Spectral Stray Light Correction Matrix)對頻譜進行校正。本論文使用不同的校正矩陣參數,依照目前業界的標準校正流程,衍生出不同方法套入不同種類的 LED 晶圓片。將其主要量測項目主波長(Dominant Wavelength,WLD)能量與高規格的標準機比較;結果發現經過雜散光校正,不論任何產品,其能量能精度準確,主波長呈現收斂,並且大量簡化校正程序。

Abstract

    In recent years, the technology for use of Light-emitting diodes (LEDs) have progressed tremendously. Reliability requirements for LED optical inspection have
become more critical. Due to cost and design requirements, the manufacturers use mass-produced spectrometers which accuracy of measurement is poor than the high specification ones. Because manufacturers improve the accuracy with complex calibration method which is no physical basis, the method is prone to failure due to product factors.

     The main problem in optical inspection is stray light. The method to carry out this study was using the spectral stray light correction matrix which calibrates the spectrum. Various LED wafers are calibrated by different correction matrix. Compare the test machine’s dominant wavelength (WLD) and power with the standard machine’s ones. The results suggested that the energy is accurate, WLD is convergent. In addition, the calibration procedure is greatly simplified.
