IMS is a multi-campus NSF Center of Excellence which consists of research sites at three universities (Univ. of Cincinnati, Univ. of Michigan, Missouri Univ. of S&T) and two international sites (Singapore and Brazil), in partnerships with over 40 global companies (including GM, Ford, Toyota, GE Aviation, Harley Davidson, Omron, Komatsu,, Toshiba, Caterpillar, Chevron, Festo, Boeing, National Instrument, Toshiba, P&G, AMD, BorgWarner, Bosch, McKinsey& Company, API, Advantech, ITRI, PMC, Siemens, Nissan, Parker, Spirit Aerosystem, CISCO, etc.).
